Each room is ensuite with either a shower, a bath, or a shower over a bath, quality linen on the bed and tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served downstairs in the restaurant from 8 to 10 — a cold continental buffet is included in every room rate, and if you'd rather have a hot breakfast, just ask and we'll add it to your bill. From 10 to 12 the restaurant serves breakfast and brunch to everyone, so there's no need to rush.

The car park behind the inn is free for guests, hard to come by this close to the town centre. Dog-friendly rooms are available on request at an extra charge.

Table Mountain trailhead is ten minutes from the front door on foot. Bring boots. We will help and advise you of anything you want to know about the area — just ask at the bar.

A two-room suite in the annexe building directly behind the restaurant. One king bed (which can be made up as two singles), two singles and a sofa bed across two rooms — sleeps up to six. Ensuite with a proper bath, a generous seating area, a small kitchen, and space for a cot. Ideal for larger families or friends travelling together.

Superior Double Twin

Our largest rooms at The Dragon — bright, generously proportioned and furnished to a high standard. Choose a super-king or two singles, with a quality ensuite (bath with shower over). TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryer and iron. If you'd like more space than our Superior Double, this is the room to book.

Superior Double Room

A cosy, characterful double — ideal for a couple. Comfortable double bed and an ensuite bathroom, with TV, tea and coffee, iron and Wi-Fi. Smaller than our Superior Double Twin rooms; if you'd prefer more space, the Twin is the one to book.

Standard Double Room

Furnished to the same standard as our superior rooms but tucked into the eaves of the building — partial ceiling height, bags of character, and a bath with a shower attachment (no stand-up shower). On the 1st and 2nd floors, some with two flights of stairs and no lift.

A snug, well-priced room with a small 4ft double bed and an ensuite with a stand-up shower cubicle (no bath). TV, Wi-Fi, room safe, heating and fresh linen — the perfect base for solo walkers, cyclists and visitors heading into the Beacons.

Cottage

A two-bedroom stone cottage a short walk from the inn — your own front door, sitting room, kitchen and small courtyard. Sleeps four, ideal for families or two couples wanting more space and the run of a place. Self-catering, but you're welcome to wander up for breakfast, a pint or supper at the inn. Parking is available at the Dragon.
